Singapore, 5 March 2024 – Taiwanese firms have secured 22 out of the 51 accolades at the 9th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards, maintaining their dominance in what is considered the most distinguished recognition for sustainability reporting.

E Ink Holdings from Taiwan was awarded the prestigious title of Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Large Company), among six awards across various categories. Following closely, Budweiser Brewing Company APAC Limited, based in Hong Kong, garnered four awards.

The 9th ASRA edition attracted entries from prominent companies across 15 countries, competing in 17 different categories. From initial assessments, 63 companies from 13 countries were shortlisted for the final round. Finally, 30 companies walked away with a total of 51 gold, silver, and bronze awards.

Rajesh Chhabara, the Managing Director of CSWorks and ASRA’s founder, commented, “The winning reports at the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards 2023 reflect the reporting companies’ commitment to high-quality sustainability reporting following global standards. These reports strive to meet the diverse information requirements of stakeholders, setting a benchmark for excellence in sustainability reporting.”

ASRA represents the pinnacle of recognition for sustainability reporting, consistently raising the bar for quality and authenticity. The awards feature a comprehensive, multi-tiered evaluation process, where an independent panel of judges selects the finalists and winners.

CSRWorks International, a Singapore-based sustainability consulting, training, and thought leadership firm, established the non-profit Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards to encourage all businesses to embrace sustainability reporting.
