SINGAPORE, 2 OCTOBER 2018

Singapore (2 October, 2018): Twenty-six exceptional women leaders from 13 countries have made it to the inaugural Asia’s Top Sustainability Superwomen List of Honour. They were selected from 112 nominations from 19 countries across Asia.

The 2018 List was unwrapped by Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) CEO Tim Mohin who was the Guest of Honour at a networking cocktail reception at the just concluded Asia Sustainability Reporting Summit in Singapore. He presented a specially crafted Superwoman Lapel Pin as a mark of honour to those Sustainability Superwomen who were present at the event.

A Sustainability Superwoman is someone who is leading change through sustainability strategies and initiatives within her organisation as well as outside of her organisation to make a long lasting impact. An international jury reviews and assesses the nominations to identify the winners.

Asia’s Top Sustainability Superwomen is a non-profit project initiated by CSRWorks International, Singapore’s most trusted name in sustainability consulting, training and thought leadership. The project’s purpose is to recognise and honour the contribution of exceptional women leaders who are driving change to make the world a better place.

Rajesh Chhabara, managing director of CSRWorks International, said,“Asia’s Top Sustainability Superwomen is recognises the power, influence and contribution of women leaders who are passionately leading the transformation we all need in order to transition to a just, equitable, peaceful and low-carbon society. We hope that the 26 Sustainability Superwomen on the 2018 List will act as a role model for young women and inspire them to become change makers.
