Edoardo Gai is a global sustainability and climate transition leader with more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of ESG strategy, corporate sustainability assessment, and data-driven advisory services. He has held senior executive roles at RobecoSAM and S&P Global, lastly serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Sustainability Services, where he led international teams across 16 countries and managed global ESG benchmarking and analytics platforms. He currently serves as an Advisory Board Member at Sustainaccount and SustainoLink.

Edoardo has extensive experience advising boards and executive teams on decarbonisation strategies, physical climate risks, regulatory alignment, reporting, and the integration of sustainability into core business processes. He has built and scaled revenue-generating sustainability services, overseen complex ESG reporting frameworks, and driven innovation through advanced analytics and digital solutions.

Throughout his career, he has worked closely with multinational corporations, financial institutions, and consulting firms, supporting them in understanding and measuring operational impact and strategic implications.

Edoardo holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering and regularly contributes to industry initiatives and global sustainability forums.
